I like Sherrilyn Kenyon…hopefully this one will go quickly…

Sometimes feel like I should be reading more "good" books…but, I’m just not in a head space for thinking too much right now.

Lovely Bones was very good.  Something I *needed* to read.  I don’t think I could see the movie, because I really don’t think the could do the book justice and a few friends who HAVE seen it say it’s extremely disturbing.

I was reading it during breaks at work, but I’m glad I finished it at home, because I spent the latter portion of the book crying.  If you’ve ever lost someone or are unsure what happens when you die, read the book.  It’s actually very comforting in it’s sadness.  I lost my father when I was young, and have spent a good part of my life either feeling like a piece of me is missing or angry that he left (like he had a choice!).  The book allowed me to believe what I’ve always known, he’s always there when I need him to be, even if I can’t see him.

Currently Reading:

1. Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey
2. Smart Women Finish Rich by David Bach

These two have to go back to the library, but will remain on the list until I’ve finished them completely (so they will be re-borrowed quite a few times).

I have no book in the queue right now.  Maybe I’ll just hit my box of books and blindly grab one.  Who knows.  Books are my crack…it’s pathetic.

P.S. I stopped linking the titles to Amazon because it’s too much friggin work.  If you’re interested in reading the book, you’ll have to look it up yourself.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the Farseer Trilogy. IT didn’t end the way I wanted it to, but that’s not to say that it didn’t end well.  I still love the Fool and Fitz.  I laughed a lot.  Cried a lot.  And *hated* Regal.  LOL  I will say I figured a lot of it out beforehand, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t well written.  It really was.  I even guess wrong, quite a few times.  LOL

I would LOVE to see what happened to the Fool. And I believe, he comes back in the next Trilogy 😀

3. Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

I started reading this book back in December (while waiting for my turn at the Parent/Teacher Conferences).  It was good, but can’t remember why I put it down.  I think I set it down and lost it for a bit.  But it’s on my nightstand now, so I shall pick it up and read.  But NOT like I did the Farseer Trilogy.  No more staying up to read until 1-2 am…especially on a "school night".  zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
